yeah yeah yeah autechre is great. everything else(markant, MaS, etc) is just a cheap imitation. rinse and repeat, ad nauseum. that said, i really LIKE a lot of the funkstorung stuff, especially the tracks where it's NOT obvious that they admittedly worship sean & rob. breakart and sondernieste are soso, but the rest is pretty good listnin' , IMHO. and i personally think that the AEMic EP is a lovely record with 2 brilliant, brilliant tracks that don't really sound too much like Ae at all, but combine beautiful childlike melodies with wicked backstabbing percussion.
